The one or two of you who are keeping up with my new sketchblog over at LJ [link] have seen the in-progress versions of this - and I actually managed to get it done in time for Otakon, where I got a copy signed by Van's original seiyuu, Tomokazu Seki. *flails and squees happily* (Why yes, I am still fangirling like crazy over it; whatever gave you that idea??)
I've been a Van fangirl ever since I first saw Escaflowne, which was quite a while ago in the overall timeline of my relatively-short acquaintance with anime. It's surprising to me that I haven't made fanart of him looooong before now. Ah, well, situation remedied. XD Now to finish the WIP of Allen that's been sitting on my hard drive for months.... Oh, and since a couple people have asked: this was done in photoshop. ^^ Van is from Escaflowne and belongs (sadly) to Nobuteru Yuki and Sunrise. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
