Finally got around to drawing him! I blame it on getting to fire a Smith & Wesson pistol about a week ago, which was HOT (I like guns a little too much, possibly), and got me thinking about him thanks to the connotations (Sanzo uses a Smith & Wesson). I didn't end up including said gun in the picture, because guns are effing hard to draw, and I'm a wimp, but it was still the inspiration. XD;
I hope the blood doesn't squick too many people out. I imagine this perhaps happening after one of the many youkai attacks the boys run into on the road. Sanzo sez: "Tch. F**kin' youkai. Took us two whole minutes to take 'em out, and now I have to make Hakkai fix my clothes. What're YOU lookin' at, punk?" ...It's been pointed out to me that he's not skinny enough, and yeah, I'll admit I fed him a few biscuits. XD; Gomen? Sanzo is from Saiyuki and belongs to Minekura. |

As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same.
