You know, you'd think something like this would have happened far sooner. Because, I mean, I've been a raving Naruto fangirl for AGES. Not that I don't fangirl plenty of other people in the series, but I just love Naruto. He's so dang cute!!
But then - oh, a couple months ago, I guess? - I was trying desperately to force myself to write a paper, and striving valiantly to overcome my senioritis, and it just... wasn't working. BUT! I resisted opening photoshop, and relieved my must-draw-something-now! urges by opening up MSPaint (Lord, I hadn't opened that program in *years*), and scribbling a quick sketch of Naruto. And then, I was able to finish up the dang paper. So anyway, I've been picking at that sketch (which was hideous) in photoshop off and on since then. Mostly all on one layer again, too (except for the background and details like the necklace and stuff). Because for some bizarre reason, I find it easier to do 'lineless' work that way. It *does* make it hard to do color adjustment, though... *swt* I can't put my finger on how old he's supposed to be here... but sometime post-post-timejump, I guess, maybe 17-19-ish? I've worked on it too long to be able to tell anymore. OH! And fullview, please! I don't usually ask that, but it really does look better at fullview (at least to me).  Naruto belongs to Kishimoto. *whines* |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
