Quite literally JUST finished this a few minutes ago. I usually wait a little while before uploading things once I finish them, so that I can catch mistakes and such before something goes online. This has been in-progress for a long time, though, so I kinda want to get it out in the world and done with, so to speak. XD;
It's a lot of fun to get commissions for older series that aren't commonly fanarted as much as they used to be. Takahashi really outdid herself with Inuyasha - the whole thing was SOOO pretty, especially the villains. Naraku was no exception, so it's been a pleasure to do my own rendition of him. The commissioner's only criteria were 1. Naraku and 2. shirtless, so I pretty much got to run with it from there.  Google-referencing onigumo spiders for the motif on the screen, though? That part was NOT FUN. *shudders* =______= I hate spiders. Naraku is from Inuyasha and belongs to Takahashi. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Inuyasha was the series that sucked me into anime, and ultimately made me want to learn so much more about other countries and their cultures. Naraku scared me as a kid, but he was one cool dude xD!
