......goodness, I can't remember the last time I did a pencil drawing that I spent so much time on. Certainly not in college, so I suppose it's been about five years.

Anyway, err. This has actually been almost-done for a couple months now, but it was only earlier tonight (this morning, really; Good Lord I need to go to bed...) that I finally dug it back out again and finished it. It has been far too long in coming; Jareth deserves better and I have failed him as a fangirl. *sigh*

This is for *Mercuralis, because it's her fault, really. I suppose it can ultimately be blamed on ~Oneiropolos for making me watch Labyrinth in the first place some years ago, and on Jareth himself simply for being his lovely [bastardly, irresistible, infuriating, devastatingly sexy] self, but if it weren't for *Mercuralis's repeated beautiful (and far superior!) renditions of him, this easily distracted worshiper probably would not have remembered his existence (forgive me, Jareth! *grovels*) and realized her pressing need to draw him.


Oh, and as a bit of an addendum: this is NOT supposed to look like David Bowie; it is supposed to look like Jareth. How I personally envision him, if you will. Being the Goblin King, he can no doubt appear in any guise he wishes, so if this does not match how he has appeared to you in your dreams, I pray your indulgence and lenience. ^.~
