A recent watercolor commission. I have a copic commission of Luppi I need to upload as well. ^^
I spent waaaaaay more time on this than the price of the commission really merited. But just couldn't stop myself, once I got going on it... he's so pretty! It was also cool to try a slightly more actiony pose than what I usually do, though it was a challege at the same time. I'm really happy with how this turned out. I haven't done monochromatic watercolor in a long time either, and it was fun. Hisagi's shikai 'Kazeshini' is just so badass. I'm sure I got some details wrong, but meh, I'm okay with it. I haven't been keeping up with Bleach for about a year and a half now, but I read the chapters where Hisagi kicks butt with this thing, and daaaang. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. It's awesome. I love the curve of movement around him, complemented by the red blood stream patterns which sort of continue the 'swish' effect.
